大分県立別府コンベンションセンターで開催されたThe
14th International Symposium on Artificial
Life and Robotics (AROB2009)において，D1の曽 智君，M1の寺脇
充君が研究発表を行いました．
曽君は3年連続のAROB発表，寺脇君は国際会議では初めての発表でした．

今年度の本研究室の活動で特筆すべき点は，学生，特に博士課程前期に在学中の学生諸君による国際会議発表件数の増加です．
これまでにも，島君や曽君がマスターコース在学中に国際会議で発表を行っていましたが，今年度は以下の4名が国際会議で発表を行いました．

ちなみに博士課程後期に在学中の5名は計9件の発表を行いました．
学生諸君が国際会議で年間13件もの発表を行っている研究室は，日本全国を探しても珍しいのではないでしょうか．
自発的にいろいろなことにチャレンジしていく姿勢こそが，自分自身の魅力を高めていくための最も効果的な方法と信じます．
本当に素晴らしいことだと思います！
